Julie has been in the beauty industry since 2002. After receiving her cosmetology license from Essex Agricultural (Northshore Community College) at the age of 18, she spent a larger part of her career working for Dellaria Salons. There she became certified in the Pyramterics Cutting technique created by John Dellaria himself.

Throughout her career, Julie continued to expand her portfolio by also doing freelance work with weddings and formal events. She later received her makeup training with David Nicholas and has certified herself in Masters, Advanced, & Reconstructive/Corrective makeup.

With education being a huge drive and inspiration for her passion in the industry, Julie has placed herself in many technique classes for cutting, coloring, texture transformations, & more in order to keep up with the latest trends and offer her clients the newest in the beauty world. She is currently an educator for UNITE, with whom she dressed hair during 2019/2020 NY and Paris Fashion Week.

Julie opened Hue House in 2015 to fulfill a long time professional aspiration. Since then, she has continues to educate herself and her team in order to keep to her values as a strong independent stylist in a highly competitive environment.
